Aiming to successfully prepare for the plans for the year 2017, the association “On Behalf of the Living” presented its plans on RTS Satellite TV. This was an extraordinary opportunity for the representatives of the diaspora to learn about the activities of the “Knjaz Milos” choir and orchestra, as well as the action of the Association’s Business Council.

“Knjaz Milos” performance at MP’s Club
The “Knjaz Milos” choir had a notable performance accompanied by a string orchestra at the opening of the Fifth Conference on British-Serbian Relations held at the MP’s Club in Belgrade on 3 March 2017 to mark the 180-year anniversary of establishing diplomatic relations between the two countries.
The audience made up of renowned business people from Serbia and Great Britain enjoyed their performance of the pieces such as “God of Justice” (Serbian: “Boze pravde”) and “God Save the Queen”.
This performance by the “Knjaz Milos” choir, whose members are all musically educated and have considerable concert experience both in the country and abroad, has once again shown the high quality of artistic delivery. The choir was conducted by the professor Milica Radojevic.
At the opening of the conference the introductory speeches were given by Nemanja Stevanovic, the State Secretary to the Serbian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and Sir Paul Judge, the chairman of the British-Serbian Chamber of Commerce.

Standing invitation for cooperation with organisations and individuals
With a view to further enhance the activities on its agenda, the association “On Behalf of the Living” invites all the interested organisations in the country, the region and abroad (including the diaspora) to contact us with their proposals for establishing cooperation.
The association has also announced the admission of new members to the choir and the orchestra (folk, tambura and string orchestra) in view of the upcoming concerts taking place in the country and abroad. Preference will be given to applicants with musical background (primary, secondary or academic education) as they will be able to master the artistic programme more quickly and efficiently.
